Overview
No matter how well you look after yourself and your skincare regime, the tissues of the face will begin to sag as you get older, which is why the face can appear aged. If you’re looking to gently reduce aging lines and wrinkles on your face, a VBeam treatment will smooth your skin, giving it a fresh, natural glow. Using intense but gentle bursts of a pulsed-dye laser, VBeam safely treats a multitude of skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, broken veins and Port Wine stains.
It works by isolating problematic blood vessels and heating them until they collapse resulting in a reduction of visual blemish. Collapsed blood vessels are invisible, meaning there is no redness from bruising or other unsightly markings on the surface of your skin afterwards.
What areas does it treat?
Rosacea
Rosacea is a skin condition that mostly affect women and causes redness on the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead as well as pimples, dry skin, swelling and tiny broken blood vessels.
Acne
Acne breakouts usually have an increased blood supply and so by shutting down these vessels the acnes can respond better to pore cleansing treatments.
Uneven Skin Tone
Uneven skin tone is an umbrella term covering anything from texture issues to redness to hyperpigmentation and is often caused by things beyond your control. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be fixed.
Our treatment
We will create a treatment programme that is specially tailored to your needs. Treatment involves 4-6 treatments in a typical scenario, with 1-2 annual clinic visits for maintenance. The laser beam is able to penetrate through the surface of the skin, with zero disruption of the surface and eradicates isolated cells that cause whatever ‘problem’ there is on the skin.

What is the treatment used for?
The gold standard treatment for treating facial redness. This can be for acne, acne rosacea & broken veins & Port Wine Stains. Also excellent for treating certain types of hyperpigmentation. Can also be used for traumatic bruises.
Will it bruise?
We can use bruising and non-bruising modes. Non-bruising modes will take more sessions to reach the end result.
When will I see results?
Usually after 4-6 sessions.
Is the treatment painful?
You may experience mild snapping sensations during your procedure.
