Ordinary painkillers are all the post-treatment aftercare that you’ll need, and if any swelling is experienced, 80% is typically reduced within a week.

The Parallel Technique
Award-winning suspension thread treatment
This procedure can only be carried out by specifically trained doctors, using what is known as the Parallel Technique. Dr Ravi Jain has championed the introduction of this new treatment to Riverbanks Wellness and he is the first doctor in the UK to master this treatment.
The Parallel Technique places 3 threads on each side of the face, independent of each other, in order to treat different areas, e.g. the malar zone which is responsible for the collapse of the cheekbones and creation of nasolabial folds. They are also placed along the jaw line to improve the appearance of jowls and marionette lines. If the neck area is being treated, 4 threads will be inserted on each side of the neck. Once these threads are placed, they are invisible.
